Introduction: A Dream Born in a Remote Corner of Nepal
My name is Nabin Kunwar, and I am a Nepali student from a middle-class family. I was born and raised in Dadeldhura District, Parshuram Municipality, Ward No. 10—a place where opportunities are limited, but dreams are limitless. My family has always believed in honesty, discipline, and education, even when our financial condition made life difficult.
From an early age, I understood one simple truth: success does not come quickly or easily, especially for students like us. But with patience, consistent effort, and faith, even the most distant dream can become reality.
Early Education: Learning with Limited Resources
I completed my secondary education (Class 10) from Shree Sitaram Secondary School, a government school located in Parshuram Municipality, Ward No. 10. Our school lacked modern laboratories, advanced learning tools, and expensive facilities. However, what we had was far more valuable—dedicated teachers who truly cared about their students.
I studied with sincerity and focus and successfully passed my SEE examination with a GPA of 3.70. This result gave me confidence and strengthened my desire to pursue science and eventually become a doctor.
Higher Secondary Education: Strengthening the Medical Dream
For my Class 11 and 12, I joined Radiant Secondary School, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur where I studied science with biology as my major subject. These two years were among the most challenging phases of my academic life.
In the Class 12 examination, I secured a GPA of 3.07. Medical preparation requires deep understanding, constant revision, and strong mental endurance. Many times, I felt emotional pressure because my family could not afford expensive coaching classes or private mentors.
Still, my parents never doubted me. Their silent sacrifices, trust, and encouragement became my biggest source of motivation.

CEE Journey: Learning Through Failure and Persistence
After completing Class 12, I appeared in the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) to pursue medical studies.
First Attempt: Painful but Important
In my first CEE attempt, despite hard work, I could not achieve my goal. I obtained a rank of 91.5. That moment was heartbreaking. I felt disappointed and questioned myself, but deep inside, I knew my journey was not over.
Second Attempt: Improvement with Discipline
In my second attempt, I prepared more systematically and with greater discipline. My efforts resulted in a rank of 95.5, which was an improvement. However, it was still not enough to secure an MBBS seat.
At this stage, many people advised me to change my career path. But I believed that dreams tested by struggle are worth fighting for.
Third Attempt: When Patience Met Destiny

In my third attempt, I prepared with full focus, emotional strength, and unwavering determination. I learned from my past mistakes and trusted the process.
Finally, my hard work was rewarded. I secured admission in the MBBS faculty with a scholarship provided by the Medical Education Commission (MEC). This was one of the most emotional and proud moments of my life—not just for me, but for my parents, teachers, and everyone who supported me during my lowest phases.
A Message to CEE Aspirants: Failure Is Not the End
Today, I am preparing to study medicine with a strong sense of responsibility. I proudly represent students from government schools and middle-class families who dare to dream beyond limitations.
My journey proves that failure does not define your future. With patience, consistency, and belief, success will arrive at the right time.
I aspire to become a skilled, compassionate, and honest doctor and serve my country with dedication. To every student preparing for the CEE, remember this:
Your attempt number does not measure your worth. Never stop believing in yourself.
