The Medical Education Common Entrance Examination for Bachelor Level Programs (MECEE BL) is a entrance exam in Nepal for aspiring healthcare professionals. Conducted by the MEC(Medical Education Commission).
The CEE Entrance Examination helps to enter programs such as MBBS, BDS, BSC Nursing, BAMS, B Firm, and more, offered by universities, affiliated colleges, and academies across Nepal.
This guide covers eligibility criteria, courses, and test formats for CEE entry exam of 2025:
Exam Format and Admission Process :
Exam format: 200 single-best-response MCQs with four options (A, B, C, D). The test of 3 hours, with a paper-based format.
Negative mark: 0.25 marks cut for each wrong answer.
Merit List and Match: Admission is through an open home matching process based on qualifications and candidate priorities. Each program has a separate qualification list, and the candidate's name is removed from other lists after entry.
Application Process: Apply online at www.mec.gov.np or https://entrance.mec.gov.np. Foreign candidates pay NPR 8,000 (approximately) .
Nepali Candidates pay NRS 4000 for giving entrance exam of every program.
